Welcome to Central School! Each of our student's health, safety, happiness and education are top priorities and we strive to go above and beyond for students every day!

Central School is located at 410 McCarthy Road in Lemont. Central houses all 4th and 5th grade students of District 113A and the student body varies between 575-600 students. Central School is a PBIS school and implements the House system, described in the PBIS section of this site. 

Because our school only houses students in fourth and fifth grade, we have a unique approach to building on student’s prior knowledge and preparing them for life in middle school and beyond. Our future focused learning activities involove STEAM and STEM activities that give a foundational knowledge of a variety of different skills that will be hugely beneficial for students. 

The culture at Central is one of teamwork, community, and encouragement and we are excited to share our stories with you!
